PXP Endurance delivers science-based endurance coaching for athletes who want to train smarter, perform better, and stay healthy long term. We integrate aerobic development, strength training, performance testing, and injury prevention to support consistent progress—not burnout.

Most athletes plateau not because they lack effort, but because they train at the wrong intensity, ignore strength, or fail to manage recovery. PXP Endurance solves those problems with individualized coaching built on physiology, movement quality, and long-term durability.

Typical Coaching

Training volume increases without full context
Injuries are managed after they appear
Plans are scaled versions of the same template

What Makes PXP Different:

  • Aerobic-first endurance development
  • Strength training integrated—not layered on
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Focus on longevity, not short-term peaks

Success at PXP Endurance is measured differently.

Athletes consistently report:

Fewer injury interruptions
More consistent training weeks
Performance improvements later in life
Confidence in decision-making during training and racing

THE PXP ENDURANCE COACHING PHILOSOPHY

Performance Without Breakdown

Every coaching decision is guided by three pillars:

1. Individual Load Management - Training volume and intensity are matched to your capacity—not someone else’s

2. Proactive Injury Prevention - Risk is addressed before it becomes interruption

3. Repeatable Performance Cycles - Success is defined by what you can do again next week, next month and next season

This is how athletes keep improving year after year

Training Plans Should be Tailored
  • Everyone has their own goals
  • Running and triathlons require that you train the 3 primary energy systems
  • Plans are tailored to your schedule and availability
Training Should Reduce Injury Risk
  • All PXP Endurance Members are screened using an FMS (Functional Movement Screen) to assess deficiencies and imbalances
  • Workouts will increase in both volume and intensity
  • Progression through your training plan will be determined based on your body response to workouts
  • To prevent injury you will initially focus on technique and form, not volume
Training Should be Fun
  • You are choosing to do this, have fun while working hard
  • Accountability of PXP Endurance group members is essential to your success
  • Training with other like-minded individuals makes it more enjoyable

CLASSES

A good strength foundation will help
prevent injuries and improve performance.
Functional Strength Classes
At PXP Endurance, we believe life itself is the ultimate endurance sport.  Let us help you train for that sport!

Our mission is to help you become strong, resilient, and ready for whatever challenges life throws your way—whether that’s excelling in sport, thriving at work, or staying active and healthy for the long run or your later years.  We go beyond traditional fitness by building a foundation of lifelong mobility, strength, endurance, and recovery. Every class and coaching session is designed not only to elevate athletic performance but also to empower you in everyday life—so you can meet the demands of family, career, recreation, and adventure with confidence.

Our system blends functional training, individualized health optimization, and community-based fitness into one integrated model. This approach ensures that every client builds strength, endurance, and resilience that carry over into sport and into the everyday demands of life.  Life is the ultimate endurance sport.  It’s not just about races, medals, or finish lines. It’s about being strong enough to chase your kids, climb mountains, carry groceries, or simply wake up each day ready for whatever comes next. At PXP Endurance, we believe the real victory is not just in how long you live, but in how well you live.

We focus on five pillars of performance and longevity:
  1. Strength – The single greatest predictor of vitality as we age. Strength training protects muscle mass, prevents injuries, and empowers movement at every stage of life.
  2. Mobility – Freedom of movement and joint health are essential for athletic performance and independent living. Mobility ensures you can move well now and later.
  3. Endurance – A robust cardiovascular system supports both performance and long-term health, protecting against chronic disease and extending health span.
  4. Recovery – From structured rest to evidence-based recovery practices, we optimize adaptation and prevent breakdown.
  5. Metabolic & Preventive Health – Longevity isn’t just about fitness; it’s also about nutrition, hormone balance, mental health, and resilience against disease.

Strength training is not about getting bulky—it’s about improving force production, movement efficiency, and tissue resilience. For endurance athletes, properly programmed strength training improves running economy, power transfer, and injury resistance.

PXP integrates strength training around endurance demands, ensuring it supports—not compromises—aerobic development. Every strength plan is aligned with the athlete’s training phase, race calendar, and recovery capacity.

Key Benefits:
  • Improved running economy
  • Reduced injury risk
  • Greater durability under load
  • Better long-term performance
  • Real-Life Transfer: Strength that carries into sport and daily activity, not just the gym.
  • Core Stability & Joint Health: Exercises that build mobility, balance, and durability.
  • Compound, Multi-Planar Training: Movement patterns that enhance coordination and athleticism.
  • Longevity Through Strength: Research shows maintaining muscle mass is one of the strongest predictors of long-term health and independence.

We train strength not for vanity, but for vitality.  All classes are led by PXP Endurance coach Paul Plummer. Functional strength classes are beneficial to all individuals regardless of age or ability. All Classes are free to Members at iNFiTNESS Club located at 9525 N Meridian, Indianapolis.

We achieve Personal Records (you get better than you were yesterday), Reduce your risk of Injury, and help you achieve your goals.

No matter what level you think you are - We are a place for you.
Picture
Paul has been instrumental in helping me reach my goals. Last year I placed 6th at Worlds, earned 3 national championship podiums, and set multiple Personal Records. This year, with his guidance, I’ve podiumed at every national championship I entered, taken overall wins locally, and set even more personal records. His coaching has truly taken my performance to the next level. I have been consistently improving year after year; this is my 7th year of competing at worlds and national events with several podiums each year.
Picture
My first goal for working with Paul was to return to running after a prolonged foot injury. Goal achieved! Paul was great at designing a build that would strengthen my foot (both through personal coaching and strength classes) and build my running fitness. I'm running faster and more resilient than ever!!
Picture
I have grown leaps and bounds since starting with Paul at PXP Previous to finding Paul in 2018, I was a runner but since then I have done triathlons, found confidence in swimming, learned how to handle a road bike, and am continuing to push forward with my running.  I would say that if you want to push yourself, create new friends, better your health and lifestyle, and truly have fun, then you have found the right place!
Picture
Paul does an exceptional job of ensuring that every muscle group is strengthened, which has helped me stay injury free and feel more balanced overall. His approach is both thoughtful and challenging- he knows how to push you to help you reach your full potential. Highly recommended! Training with PXP has been transformative for both me and my family. He has guided me through preparation for several Half Ironmans and Half Marathons. Beyond my own journey, Paul played a pivot role in helping my kids become better athletes.
Picture
Paul has truly created something special at PXP Endurance. My time with his team was life-changing. I was injured, underweight and frustrated when I met Paul. He met me where I was at and created a program that ensured success. I learned to love strength training, and the results were incredible. As a 40-something year old mom of 4, I am stronger than I have ever been. Perhaps the biggest impact Paul has had on me is with my mental game. Paul believes in his athletes and is their biggest cheerleader. Paul built my confidence day by day through his workouts and encouragement.
Picture
Paul came highly recommended and has the legacy to prove that he knows what he's doing. It was easy to trust him with my training. Paul is good about knowing when to push and when to encourage and when to listen. Training is hard. But it's supposed to be hard. You need to show up and do the work to train your muscles and your mind and Paul is there to help. Even when the race didn't go as planned (thanks to a bike snafu), Paul's encouragement and confidence helped me keep going.
Picture
Working with Paul is fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. He is knowledgeable, responsive to my questions, and always willing to provide guidance and support. It is clear that my goals and successes are as important to him as they are to me. I've tested and pushed myself further than I ever thought possible, made lifelong memories from each one of my races, and at the center of it all was PXP Endurance.  I saw tremendous improvements in my running, swimming, biking, and strength.
Picture
The PXP community, and the coaching that Paul has provided, has allowed me to achieve goals that I thought were impossible. PXP has been an incredible and transformative experience that has allowed me to become the best version of myself. Before PXP I could not run more than half a mile straight and I had no idea how to train for a triathlon. I have now done 4 70.3s and I am training for a full Ironman. I have become an athlete and a person that I could have only dreamed of before.
Picture
After interacting with Paul and seeing PXP Endurance in person during some sweat analysis testing, I felt very comfortable. Paul was incredibly welcoming and never pushed any sort of sales pitch. He was just interested in helping get me what I needed. Then I talked to him about coaching me and he ticked every box in what I was looking for as a coach. Since joining, I have continued to be impressed with the community Paul has cultivated and the passion with which he approaches his work.
Picture
Paul puts a program together that meets your needs and your desired goals. Everything is tailored to you specifically.
A sound partner and coach that I can leverage for questions, input and discussions about my training and overall physical health. The expert advice and guidance as I am preparing for races and events is invaluable.
Picture
Paul is a great motivator, coach, and friend. His coaching style is effortless. I have worked with PXP for 5 years and have gone from an injury-prone triathlete to a strong, injury-resilient triathlete. I am faster and feel so much better!! It has been a long journey, but Paul has stuck with me and encouraged me through it.  The structured workouts are easy to follow and challenge your mind and body. Paul gives feedback and encourages the athletes to do their best.
Picture
I had always created my own training plans for running, but I didn’t have the experience with triathlon so I reached out for assistance. I wanted someone relatively close by who had experience completing events. What separated Paul from other coaches was his vast experience in athletic training, ability to help me achieve new Personal Records, and teach me everything I need to know about endurance. There have been times where I needed to be reined in and there are times when I’ve needed encouragement and confidence and Paul is able to walk this fine balance.  I’ve now completed 5 Ironman 70.3 events, 1 full Ironman event, numerous Olympic distance events and a few marathons.
Picture
Paul saw me at an event and encouraged me to try it out. I can feel the difference in my strength and energy. I have not had an injury in over a year. I look forward to each class and the challenges it brings. He is a great teacher and motivator.
Picture
I have learned that hard work and consistency pay off. Training plans are excellent guidelines to be modified based on how your body feels. Recovery is hard and mentally challenging. I started as a runner, today I have completed multiple triathlons, and continue to grow and improve. I have been able to achieve my goals to date because of the strong bond of trust that we have developed, he has taught me how to train for endurance events, be a Half Ironman or the Walt Disney Dopey Challenge. I’ve learned to be mentally strong, with the right training, there isn’t anything out of reach.
Picture
Training with Paul over the last few years has been life changing to be honest. We have completed some races, I never thought would be possible, not just for me but in general. Paul is the man! He shoots you straight and is always focused on the best route to achieve whatever your goals are. I highly recommend Paul as a coach. He cares, he knows what the heck he’s talking about, and he knows how to push you and make it fun.
Picture
The coaching, energy, and team environment drew me in, and I realized I could not only continue racing at the same levels I had before but actually improve how I felt throughout training. I’ve achieved not just new PRs across multiple race distances, but I’ve also been able to train more effectively and hold up physically better than before. The combination of running, strength, and guided coaching has left me feeling more balanced, resilient, and capable. I feel stronger, more complete, and more confident in both my training and my racing.
